About The Project

Ravenhood is a website clone of stock trading site, Robinhood where users are able to manage their own portfolios of stocks and track the performance of various stocks on the market overtime. This project was made over the course of one week during our time in the App Academy boot camp.

Upon first entering our site, you will need to click either the Sign Up or Log In buttons in the top right-hand corner to be able to access content within the site. You may either create your own account, or utilize the Demo User's account with the Demo User Button.

After logging in, you can search up various stocks that exist within the Yahoo Finance API or create watchlists to track stocks and their values as they adjust in real time.

To purchase stocks, utilize the search bar to find stocks by their ticker symbols. On each stock's detail pages, you can fill out a form to purchase or sell the stock on the right-hand side of the page. Each account is given $100,000 to start off with trading stocks.

See if you can grow that money and achieve generational wealth on Ravenhood!
