Attribute Assistant will not work with Views

I attempted several methods utilizing a geodatabase view and was unable to get results. Is this a known limitation, a bug, or am I just not configuring the rule correctly?

I have never tested views, can you enable the log file and see if that provides any info?

Is that log file for AA? Can you tell me where that option is? I'll have to
reach out to admin and get them to enable and get me the log file.
