Action Performed:

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Create group chat
3. Click on the group chat Avatar> Upload> Select image from device> Zoom the image> Save

Expected Result:

Zoomed image should be uploaded as Group chat avatar

Actual Result:

When upload zoomed avatar image on group chat it turns to default avatar

Issue is still reproducible on the latest build 9.0.9-2 with others steps:

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Create group chat
3. Click on the group chat Avatar> Upload> Select image from device
4. Refresh the page

Hm, I don't think that's the same issue at all. The OP of this issue is about uploading an avatar "zoomed in" after the group chat is created, and that upload returning to the default avatar.

The tester here refreshed the page in the group chat creation flow, so the avatar cached locally was lost. I'm going to close this as it's incredibly unlikely someone will refresh on this screen prior to creating the group.
