[med] Chrome + Jaws: Add button (+): Action button (+) is not accessible using screen reader. #8478

Action Performed:

  1. Using Chrome + Jaws, open URL staging.new.expensify.com
  2. Navigate to any chat using Tab key and press Enter to select it.
  3. Chat screen is appearing, Navigate to Action (+) button using Tab key and try to select it using Enter/Space key/
  4. Observe that Action(+) button is not accessible.

Expected Result:

Action (+) button should be accessible using screen reader.

Actual Result:

Action (+) button is not accessible using screen reader.

Other Occurrences:
Same issue also repro on PR #8839, #8790, #8809, #9212, #9284, #9284

Workaround:

Yes

Area issue was found in:

Chat Editable text box.

User impact:

Lack of keyboard access makes it difficult for screen reader users to access web page functionality.

Suggested resolution:

Make sure all the button which is present on the page should be accessible using screen reader. Refer to: https://webaim.org/techniques/keyboard/
