Regarding "better avatar"
I would love to have a more stereotype avatar, as I fear to run into issues with different types of people in multi-user environments (e.g., the avatar is a "guy in a suit", but the voice I hear is from a female). Or, even if more refined avatars exist, we may run into uncanny valles issues. I would prefer a very simple option, something like this:
