Related problem

This is all coming about because I discovered [FreeSurfer's new brain extraction tool] SynthStrip (https://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/docs/synthstrip/), which is just phenomenally consistent, accurate, and fast.

Proposed feature

Add SynthStrip to the brain extraction options

Acceptance criteria

  • SynthStrip can be chosen and configured as a brain extraction option
  • When chosen and configured, SynthStrip runs and produces the expected brain extraction outputs
