This feature is possibly dangerous without requiring a neutral switch or clutch switch to prevent starter engagement in gear, it also has to be disabled at all times when the engine is already running.

Heres the fucked thing, the starter control pin... Is not starter control. Its fucking starter disable. And its always on. No clue what the button option does, it seems to be literally nothing. This was tested last week on S13

Agreed, at least ONE safety mechanism MUST be enabled to prevent start. Brakes, clutch, neutral switch, whatever.

nope, there are both. Some cars have "ECU can prevent human from operating starter" and some cars have "ECU controls starter"
