Part Functions are custom compounds of data that can be appended to Parts.
You can create your own through code.

You can append a function into a Part by either filling out the Function or Functions field.
The Function value has to be a JSON Object, with one "id":"<function_id>" value,
into the rest of the JSON Object you put the settings specific for the Function.
