  • Floorp Expands CPU Support and Delivers Speed Boost on Windows 32-bit

Good news for Windows 32-bit users! Floorp no longer requires a CPU that supports SSE4.1 instructions for installation. This means wider compatibility, with support for all CPUs that can run Firefox.

If you're having trouble launching the 64-bit version of Floorp, try the 32-bit version instead. It might solve the issue!

❌ Bug fixes

  • Workspace button issue: We fixed the proliferation of workspace buttons when opening new windows.

  • Content scripting: Previously, with content scripting enabled, links opened within the web panel when added by third-party apps like Discord. This has been addressed.

  • Extension disabling: Users can now disable Gesturefy and uBlock Origin in private windows.

  • PWA window display: We've resolved issues causing improper display of PWA windows in certain environments.

  • Local SearxNG search engine: Adding local SearxNG search engines is now possible.
