Overview

This script is a way to detect duplicate packages with the same description on Debian family OSes.

Setup

By Git cloning:

git clone https://github.com/FlorentPoinsaut/dpkg-find-duplicate.git

By HTTP download:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/FlorentPoinsaut/dpkg-find-duplicate/master/dpkg-find-duplicate.sh

Usage

sh dpkg-find-duplicate.sh

Limitations

Debian family OSes are officially supported. Tested on Debian.
