VBR CAF can be produced by ffmpeg and theoretically is spec-compliant, but Safari (and macOS Quicktime Player) will refuse to decode.

VBR CAF can be produced by ffmpeg and theoretically is spec-compliant, but Safari (and macOS Quicktime Player) will refuse to decode. Unfortunately Opus defaults to (constrained) VBR because it works better that way!
