Audiotrack reverts back to English + Show Series Menu instead of starting the episode directly

Hi, first of all, kudos—this app replaced my default app in just 5 seconds.
However, I’d like it if the app remembered the audio track or if I could set the default language in the settings. I’m a native German speaker, and every time I resume watching, I have to switch the language.

Secondly, I’d like it if clicking on the latest episode didn’t start the episode immediately but instead took me to the series menu, similar to how it works with movies or when I click “Go to Show” during playback.

I honestly haven’t spent that much time on audio track preferences yet. There were a few bigger features I wanted to get in first, so things like remembering the selected track or having a preferred audio language still need some work.

As for the episode behavior, direct playback is intentional. In the Home screen’s top row I mark playable tiles with the little orange triangle specifically to indicate that pressing them will start playback. The library top rows will follow the same idea in 0.7.

And yep, the press-and-hold menu you found is the intended way to get to the episode or the show instead.

Quick update: the app now reads your Plex account's preferred audio language (#218). Please try the latest version with German selected in Plex's Audio & Subtitle settings and let me know if it still switches back to English.

Choosing that language directly on the TV is still planned in #223. Go to Show is available through the long-press menu you found, so I'll close this discussion and keep the remaining settings work tracked there. Thanks again!

Update: the app now remembers the audio and subtitle track you pick per show, so you shouldn't have to switch to German on every episode. It is merged and will be in the next nightly (tracking issue: #681). Please try it and tell me if it still reverts.
