Hi,
I just upgraded the Jbrowse2 desktop from 1.6.5 to version 1.6.6, on a Mac m1 with Monterey. I am no longer able to load annotations in gff3 format. The message "loading" appears but then nothing loads. With version 1.6.5, however, everything is ok.
I also tried the new version on Linux but the problem persists.
The genome fasta files or other kind of tracks (BigWick) are loaded without problems in 1.6.6 version.
Thanks a lot

I can reproduce this problem, although I think that it's the first loaded track that gets stuck, not necessarily only GFF3. Probably related to #2798, I am investigating further.
