Sorry this happened, and thanks for the clear details. Nothing was uninstalled, so your apps and settings are still there; the TV is waiting on something at boot. Here's what I'd try, in this order:
I've added these steps to TROUBLESHOOTING.md, and the prompt now keeps the stock launcher enabled on CVTE boards that don't have a tested list, so this shouldn't happen to the next person. Could you let us know which step got it back? That helps us a lot. |

Hi, I followed your prompt using Codex on a JVC LT-43N7115 (board TP.SK706S.PC822, Android 11).
The custom launcher worked initially. Codex disabled com.cvte.tv.launcher.space, set the new default launcher, and enabled an accessibility helper for remote keys. After rebooting, the TV stays on the “Smart TV” animation. Settings won’t open, and network ADB is unreachable.
A power cycle with the USB drive removed didn’t help. No system packages were uninstalled, and no firmware was flashed.
Is there a way to re-enable the stock launcher or recover this model without wiping data? I have the package/settings backups and a USB drive, but no Ethernet cable or router available. Any model-specific recovery guidance would be appreciated.
