Unable to set phenomenomTime as an array of time instants

Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered situations where the you want to post an Observation result as an array (say, for high sampling rate sensors) only to realize that you can only supply time as an instant or as a period with a start and end.

This is perfectly fine for sensors with constant sampling rates, but would be problematic if the sampling rates are inconsistent.

For variable sampling rates, one would use a 2D array, with the first item in each entry being the relative time in seconds since phenomenonTime/start, and the second item being the measured value.
In version 2 we will be able to describe this clearly in the resultType field of the Datastream.

OK - I guess without the resultType field in v2 it's a feels a bit like a hack right now!

Yeah, in v1.x the moment all complex observations are, since there is no way to give the schema of the complex result.
