The Gizer platform’s back-end is built on the Ethereum blockchain, using common industry standards such as the ERC-20 token and ERC-721 non-fungible token, in order to maintain compatibility with popular 3rd party applications such as MyEtherWallet.com, Etherscan.io and other Ethereum blockchain interface providers.
Details of the Platform The Gizer Token is an Ethereum smart contract commonly known as an ERC-20 token. This token will allow GZR holders the ability to hold ownership, transfer ownership, grant another individual the right to transfer the token on their behalf, and generate Gizer items.
When someone uses their GZR to generate an item, they first must find an interface to execute the transaction. While this is certainly possible to do on a site like MyEtherWallet.com given the implemented standards, we recommend using the native Gizer UI which can be found at tokensale.gizer.io.
When a user wants to initiate the transaction, they start by creating an action on the Gizer platform, referred to as opening a treasure. The treasure has defined probabilities of collecting a randomized Gizer item. You can see the item rarities on tokensale.gizer.io.
Here’s where it gets interesting.
When you generate a Gizer item, the GZR you used to initiate the transaction is removed from your balance as it has been considered spent. The GZR token has now given you a chance to collect one of the scarce items in the Gizer economy. These items are constructed using the ERC-721 non-fungible token standard. Which for those that are not aware, basically gives you a unique individual token which can represents a string of unique data. This unique data is actually the key to your new Gizer item.
Tokensale.gizer.io will recognize whether or not you possess either a GZR token or a Gizer item. When you hold a Gizer item, it will be reflected on the site and you will see the 3D rendering of your unique item.
Once it’s clear you have your item, there are some things you can do with it. First, because the ERC-721 token standard is actually just a token, you can of course transfer it, or give the transfer rights to someone else. In addition to this you have the right to use it with the future games that will integrate with the platform.
