V4.0 Beta Bugs and Issues

Rather than clutter the production issues list with beta test stuff, I thought it might be good to centralize stuff here

Known Bugs

1. Not importing images when CSV file not in standard location
2. Not deleting cached images when main image is deleted
3. Book description not updating when synchronizing with goodreads
4. Check icon for notifications; seems too big
5. Notification icon doesn’t disappear when you click on it (good read integration)
6. Logo needs to go into main menu an book lists
7. Add a hint that is displayed when the user fist selects the ‘Select Style’ menu option to let them know what can be don in terms of customization
8. Sorting broken in ICS (see Issue 301): no longer case-insensitive

Non-critical Issues

1. [4.0.x] Add editing to formats (like Author/Series edit) as a way to cleanup data.
2. [4.1] AUTO EDITING of data. We really need this.
3. [4.1, 4.2] It shouldn’t re-get books if there has been no change when returning from the book edit view. Need to implement broadcast messages when global stuff changes.
4. [4.x] Add ‘Search’ support to ‘Main menu’.
5. [4.X] Store ‘Sort Title’ as well as ‘Title’ for books so that we can display titles correctly while also sorting correctly. Need to allow users to edit the ‘sort title’…perhaps a button next to the title?
