MAC OS

  • backup your ZEN wallet.dat if you have some ZEN in it
  • delete ~/Library/Application Support/Zen and ~/Library/Application Support/ZcashParams
  • run Eleos v0.0.7

WINDOWS

  • backup your ZEN wallet.dat if you have some ZEN in it
  • delete %APPDATA%/Zen and %APPDATA%/ZcashParams
  • run Eleos v0.0.7

LINUX

sudo apt-get install node.js nodejs-legacy npm
npm install electron tcp-port-used tar-fs request-progress ht-auth express-ws node-pty
cd to eleos dir
npm install

I got the Eleos wallet working on my linux laptop. Here is what I did:
I already have a working zen daemon running.

install nvm from here: https://github.com/creationix/nvm
nvm install 7.10.0
nvm use 7.10.0

npm update
npm install
npm start

create file zen.json, contents:

Run the eleos wallet
Options->Set Coin
choose ZenCash
Restart Eleos wallet
Options->Set Coin Config Location
choose zen.json
Restart Eleos wallet
