LINUX
sudo apt-get install node.js nodejs-legacy npm

cd to eleos dir

I got the Eleos wallet working on my linux laptop. Here is what I did:
I already have a working zen daemon running.
install nvm from here: https://github.com/creationix/nvm
nvm install 7.10.0
nvm use 7.10.0
npm update
npm install
npm start
create file zen.json, contents:
