Using R Instat with R 3.5

For R-Instat versions 0.5.0 we recommended using the latest 3.6 versions of R. However, it can be run with R 3.5 versions if needed.

To do this you will need to install the required R packages separately before running R-Instat. This is because R-Instat only includes R 3.6 versions of the packages. Unfortunately, we cannot include the R 3.5 versions of all packages as this would mean storing two versions of each package and double the size of the installation file.

To install the required R packages for R 3.5 versions source the R script below or copy and paste the code below before running R-Instat. If the required packages are installed, R-Instat will now run with R 3.5.
