Welcome to the BoK wiki! This will be the home for various process guidance and how-to information that authors and reviewers may need to submit and review content. A list of wiki pages is available in the right-side ToC on this screen.

Writing for the Body of Knowledge (BoK)

Topic Shepherds are assigned to the different sections to help manage the content in that area, and with them to help manage the first generation of content, the BoK is starting to come together.

More authors for the different sections are needed, however, and the best authors in this space are IDPro members! We’re looking for individuals willing to write material that will ultimately drive the IDPro Certification Program. Topics include the digital identity life cycle, different forms of access control, IAM and business processes, and more.

By being involved, you will help improve the identity ecosystem and have your name noted as an expert in the field. We are looking for submissions now, with a goal of seeing our first articles published in Q3 2019.

You won’t be going this alone! There will be review cycles with the BoK committee and a professional editor to provide feedback and establish consistency of terminology across all submitted material. We are also using templates to help make sure that all the articles follow a similar style, with an eye towards making the final compendium easier to understand for the reader.

If you are interested in being a part of this effort, please reach out to info@idpro.org. If you want to make a contribution, even after the editorial phase starts, please reach out. You can find information regarding what topics are being covered in the bok-tok repository in this GitHub organization space.
