When I select files to download, the file identifiers are passed in the url. If too many files are selected, I get error because the url is too long..

@felker13 good news! Pull request #6957 was recently merged which means that a fix for this issue (and #6943) will be in the next version of Dataverse (which is expected to be Dataverse 5).
