SQAN: Need prominently visible close button on modals

It appears I can't close a modal and go back to the previous view if it obscures the latter. Perhaps we should add a prominently visible close button?

PS: On Chrome/Windows 10.x, it seems I can 'escape' my way out but only if first click on a non-clickable area of the modal.

?All modals should be able to be closed by clicking outside the modal. Is that not working in your browser?

I'd still like a close button if that's not difficult to apply across the board on Vue/Vuetify modals.
