How to index terms with special characters:
You could put the programming language in a subfield and use indexing technique 2 to index
embedding the term to index between <> as follow <C++> <C#>

Dear Jean-Claude,
I have worked with indexing of Special characters according to your advice & found some issues. It is also for your kind consideration that our database have special characters in document titles like #, ++ and %. So in WinISIS we use * sign for repeatable fields.
I am attaching test DBs for rectification of actual problem, both DBs are with same FDT & FST. The problems found by me so far are

  1. Doesn't differentiate between symbols. (See attachment SymbolSearch.png)
  2. Each Word Technique (Tech-4) doesn't include symbols.

SymbolSearch

  1. JISIS FDT accomplish 4-Digit Tags (e.g v9999) but Export Database function doesn't export them.
  2. The performance of Suite running over VM (Windows Server 2012 with 4GB Ram on VSphere) is very slow in comparison with same OS footprint running over physical machine.
