A Samsung Galaxy Tablet not funktion whit EngieDriver v2.19-test2 #243
Comments
Thanks for the feedback.
This is a remote possibility, but could I ask you to reinstall the beta
version. On the connection screen, before connecting to a sever, go into
the preferences and do a reset. This is in the last option in the main
preference list.
This shouldn't be necessary, but I don't have any other ideas at moment.

I have several platforms to test EngineDriver on together with JMRI
WIThrottle.
My smart phone works fine, my ESU MCII works fine.
But on my Samsung Tablet Galaxy A, EngineDriver crash when trying to
connect to the JMRI WiThrottle.
I then!!!, on my tablet tried to go back to EngineDriver v2.18.1 and then
there is no problems with the connection to JMRI WiThrottle. All works fine.

Hi,
I have committed a small code change that I hope will address the issue,
but Steve will need to update the Beta when he gets a chance.

@SonnysHansen I updated the beta on 5/31, so you should be able to test this for Peter. Please advise results. |
I updated EngineDriver to v2.19-53 yesterday, and have tested it, this
morning, on my tablet.
There is no longer any problems with the connection to JMRI WiThrottle.
Regards,
Sonny
