When I click on export to texstudio, only the \cite part gets reflected in texstudio, not the entire bibtex related to that citation is created.
Won't it be ideal if the jabref creates a .bib file and then append that file automagically so that the users don't have to create the .bib file manually?
Or did I miss something?

Hi,
I think you misunderstood something. JabRef directly works on the .bib file. And in TexStudio you just would link/include to the bib using \bibliography{path/filenameOfYozrBibFile} That's why JabRef only enters the cite command.
