Just stubled over the gradle format task in the CONTRIBUTING for formatting the code. However, the plugin is discontinued and was removed in 5004f1e.
Thus, I just deleted that sentence and as I was already around, I read the whole fixing minor issues in the text.

  • Change in CHANGELOG.md described -> Not necessary
  • Tests created for changes -> Not necessary
  • Screenshots added (for bigger UI changes) -> Not necessary
  • Manually tested changed features in running JabRef -> Not necessary
  • Check documentation status (Issue created for outdated help page at help.jabref.org?)
  • If you changed the localization: Did you run gradle localizationUpdate? -> Not necessary
