This is an initial shot to get Java9 working.

Addresses java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/bind/JAXBException with the solution posted at https://stackoverflow.com/a/43574427/873282.

I just stumbled upon junit-team/junit5@7954ab6, where they use the build matrix feature to compile junit 5 with jdk 8, 9 and 10. Maybe helpful.
