Deploying from github repo instead of npm build step

Hi,

The Deploy job seems to be deploying the build present in the repository instead of the build from the Install and Build 🔧 job.

This is the YAML I am using:

Do you have an example of what your project structure looks like? Is the docs folder tracked in this case, and does the build step just add additional files to it?

If that's the case try setting PRESERVE to true. The action will stash the changes created by the build step and re-instate them prior to the deployment. The current plan is to eliminate this option entirely in version 4 and make this the default behavior, but for now it's behind a flag.
