Secure Voting System

Overview

The Secure Voting System is a web application that allows users to register, receive a unique voting code via email, and participate in secure voting. The system ensures that each user can vote only once, and no one can vote on their behalf.

Setup Instructions

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/secure-voting-system.git
   cd secure-voting-system
   

2. Install dependencies:

    npm install

3. Set up Firebase:

   Create a Firebase project at Firebase Console.
    Obtain your Firebase configuration and replace the placeholders in src/firebase/firebaseConfig.js.
    Enable authentication and configure the Realtime Database.

Configure APIs:

 Obtain API keys and configure them in the appropriate files (if applicable).

4. Run the application:

   npm start
   Open the application in your browser at http://localhost:3000.
   

5. Usage:

• Users can register on the platform.
• Upon registration, an email with a Unique voting code is sent to the user.
• Users use the voting code to participate in the voting process.
• Each user can vote only once to maintain the integrity of the voting system.# Voting_System
