Improve coverage

Our coverage has dropped, although the report is strange... Seems that initialization lines are not hit. Is this a Julia compiler trick?

There’s been discussion on Slack/GitHub/Discourse of other people having incorrect coverage reports when upgrading the Julia 0.7/1.0. It seems that some of these issues are resolved by testing with —with-compiled-modules set to yes and no. Also adding the —no-inline flag also sometimes helps. But some of the issues with coverage seem to persist even when these steps are taken.
