Today, OCT 05 2104. I attempted to download win32, bui, it the downlaod does not work
at all: Windows Self-Extracting Archive (.exe) of V 0.3.1 does not work, and, V 0.2.1. does not
work as well. Kindly provide to me both downlaods links.

The links work fine. I just tried it. Perhaps you are behind a firewall or something that does not allow downloading of exe files?

I'm sorry, Amir, but we won't be able to fulfill a request like that. For one, the downloads are much too large; for another, there is nothing actually wrong with Amazon Web Services (AWS) where our downloads are hosted.

You should contact your local network administrator and ask why you are having problems reaching AWS. Hopefully you'll be able to get that resolved and enjoy what Julia has to offer!

I am getting all the time this error code:

Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED

and, I can not download. Now, a question: is there any repoistory for Julia
out of your site?
If it is too big file sizes, can you upload it to sites like MEGA, or,
DropBox?

Thanks, and, best regards, Amir

Ps. what is the file size for one and the other?

Amir, I do suggest that you contact either your local network administrator or internet service provider. There is not another official download site for the Windows binaries at this time, though you may find them mirrored elsewhere.

By googling that error name (did you try that?) it seems likely that you have a conflict between Chrome and Kapersky antivirus:

You may want to try another browser for this – the web server is not the issue.

Does that link about Kapersky antivirus look relevant? Are you using any of those products?

There are no official mirrors, that's the link. You could try building from source.

The firewall may be implementing the anti-virus and blocking? I can only suggest to download from a different internet connection or a different computer.

Yeah, this appears to be your antivirus software preventing you from downloading .exe files. Either turn off the antivirus while you download this or download it on a different computer not running antivirus.

Thanks, any way, is there any other way to join consortium and make
contributions?
I wish to write entire DSP package onto what you have.
Let me know. Best regards, Amir.

There is no consortium or official institution. Just try to write good code and people will end up using it.

There's already a DSP package, so you would be better off contributing there than writing something from scratch.

There is a Github organization - https://github.com/JuliaDSP

However, discussions on contributions are best held on julia-users mailing list.

Hi to all>
due all problems, I managed to download Julia for Windows.
I think my wireless link is hacked, so I used secure TOR and Lives program
and I write to you from Tor now /this is secure 100%/... I have Julia now,
thanks.
I wish to contribute for DSP but will first test what you have now.
Other issue of developing special functions for DSP, I will do so after the
test.
If I will need help to develop this, due tools you use, whom can I ask at
your organization.
I am in Europe, so if you have anyone who can be called, kindly enlist the
direct landline and
mobile numbers so we can speak. My mobile is > [redacted] /in
Croatia/...
Thank you, best regards, Amir

This is not really how open source works. I don't think anyone is going to post their phone number here.

Ok, we are just software guys and I do not see the reason of hidding mobile
phone?
We are not criminals, just usual people, who can abuse mobile phone?
Anyway, best regards, Amir

We're just software guys, so we use e-mails and GitHub.

Maybe, but believe it or not staying in touch with our 200+ contributors by phone actually does not work very well.
