#NPC

The NPC have certain properties that they need for their lives in realms. An NPC is an entity, even if it is not visible. The NPC will only be visible if a player is nearby. Only then will their actions and activities in the Minecraft world are running. This sometimes means that the NPC indeed do something, but is not visible. Then I have only a limited impact. I think I will not want to change this, because of the risk to overload the server.

There are different type of NPC that in certain areas of life and act. Sometimes the NPC move from one area to another.

  • Settlers, this is the default NPC. He lives in settlements and follows its lifecycle.
  • Manager, a special settlers, which controls the development and managed. There are several types of managers.
  • Homeless, a special settlers who became a beggar, has left the village and lives in an independent group or tribe.
  • Noble, a noble NPC. He is the owner of a lehen and follows a individual lifecycle
  • Unit, a military NPC. He has a combat equipment and has its own lifecycle

This roughly corresponds to a system of estates. The NPC will be moved by the plugin on certain occasions from one type to the next.

  • A settler change to a soldier
  • A settler is hungry change to a beggar
  • A beggar is starving, becomes the homeless and leaves the settlement
  • The lehen of the soldiers is resolved, the soldier will change return to a settler and go to his family
  • The soldier gets no reward and leave the lehen and change to a raider
  • The regiment of soldiers is resolved, the soldier change to a settler
  • The soldier gets no reward and leave the regiment and change to the a raider
