decentralized order

Mark Janssen edited this page Jul 18, 2019 · 5 revisions

The powerful thing about this project is the solution to decentralized, large-community management. That means no editors (apart from abuse), no censorship, no preferences based on personal philosophies at all.

There are three components:

Community members or outsiders can vote on every contribution (per-item voting), up or down. These votes get tabulated with registered users as user-ranking. Then, in order to prevent positive feedback loops from "first posts" or temporarily highest voted items, a probabilistic chooser algorithm is used to randomized the pages.
