It would be great if redmoon could be (de)activated automatically at certain hours.

I'm actually currently working on this feature. I plan to have it incorporated into the next release.

Add filter times configuration

The user now has the option to automatically turn the filter on and
off. If they select the option, they can choose at what times the filter
is turned on and off. Later the user may have the choice to not select
the turn on and off times manually, but to automatically turn on and of
at sunrise and sunset.

One can now choose times at which to automatically turn on or turn off the filter. The new release with this feature should be on F-Droid in a few days.
