[FEATURE_REQUEST] Workspace view default item

When switching to Workspace view (or launching there directly) nothing is displayed in the workspace.

Describe the solution you'd like

It would be good to be able to specify a default item to open, and also expand the corresponding section in the menu. Or just open the first item in the first section by default.

This is a great idea, thank you for suggesting, and I agree, it looks weird to have that big empty space.
I will try and get this implemented this week or weekend, and will update you here when it's done :)
