20. Event Visualizer and Event Reports
- Learn how to create, customize and save a report in the Event Visualizer and Event Reports apps in DHIS2.
Pivot tables and graphs can display either raw data values (of data elements),
or indicator values. The following instructions work for created both Pivot
Tables or graphs in DHIS2

Create a Pivot Table and Graph in DHIS 2 Database
To create either a Pivot Table or a Graph, you will have to define the 'What', 'When' and 'Where' dimensions by filling out the 'Data', 'Periods' and 'Organisation unit' windows.
Step 1: Sign in to your DHIS 2 Account
Go to the 'Event Reports' app to create a pivot table |

Go to the 'Event Visualizer' app to create a graph |

Step 2: Fill out the Data window:
- Select the desired program and, if applicable, program stage
2. Select the desired Data Elements
- Define filters for Selected Data Elements
Step 3: Fill out the Periods window:

You can select relative and/or fixed periods.
a. Select fixed periods by selecting the reporting scale (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) from the top drop-down and then double-clicking the desired periods

Select relative periods by checking the boxes at the bottom of the window
Step 4: Fill out the Organisation units window:

You can select multiple OrgUnits with 'Shift+click' or 'Ctrl+click'
Click 'Update' to create your report
Step 5: Click 'Favorites' to access saved reports, or save a new report.
- To save a new report, click 'Add new', enter a name and click 'Create'
