X Server for Windows

Windows X-server based on the xorg git sources (like xming or cygwin's xwin).

Building:

Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition
Strawberry perl portable edition installed in c:\perl
Cygwin (install the required tools when errors seen: nasm, flex, bison, python, ....)
To build the installer: nsis

Verified that this works with Bash on Ubuntu on Windows (WSL) with SDL 2.04, more specifically with Urho3D.
