Wrong commenting for HTML editing

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Pressing (ctrl+ / or Ctrl+k + Ctrl +c) to and html document produces a "//" comment instead of a "" please see attached gif below.

@leonsalayog I'm not able to reproduce this. Can you turn off all extensions to see if it's a problem of an installed extension?

If you can still reproduce, please paste the code example to reproduce.

I've already disabled all my extensions but still no avail. By the way, I'm editing a wordpress .php file here. Maybe if you try it on a .php extension you can replicate my commenting bug. Imgage attached.
