I already have an italian translation for your Scratch extension for Arduino. According to your instructions I provided a new file s2a_fm_It.s2e and have modified xlate.cfg.

How can I provide these files to you?

Giovanni,

Thank you so much. Just attach them in an email and I will do the rest.
I will also make sure that translation works with Snap! as well.

Thanks Again,
Alan

I just realized that you sent this on github. You can email the files to MisterYsLab@gmail.com

According to your instructions I modified xlate.cfg and I added
s2a_fm_base_It.se2 (attached).

Howwver, after installing Scratch 2.0, I could not upload the file. Maybe I
missed some step from instructions, but I can't see what. I can load
projects from the ScratchProjects folder, and I noticed that they are
provided in other languages, too.

How do I tell Scratch to use the italian translation?

I'm working on a MAC.

Thank you

Hi Giovanni,
Github stripped your attachment off so I did not receive it. Please resend to directly to MisterYsLab@gmail.com

To answer your question on the .s2e file, you can only load the .s2e
files in the offline version of Scratch
http://scratch.mit.edu/scratch2download/. To load the file you would
hold the Shift key while clicking on the File menu item of the editor
and then you would see an "Import Experimental Extension" choice in the
list. Select that item and a file chooser should appear.

(Screen shot should have been here, but stripped off by GITHUB).
If you then go the More blocks tab of the editor, you should see blocks
you created.

(Screen shot should have been here, but stripped off by GITHUB).

If nothing appears in the More blocks section, there is an error in .s2e
file. When you send me the file, I can fix it if necessary. The most
important thing is the translated text.

The on-line version of Scratch does not support the loading of the .s2e
file. However, once you create an empty project that contains the s2a_fm
blocks, and load it into the off-line version, if you save it from the
same File menu, an .sb2 file will be created and then you can go to the
on-line version and using the File menu, open the .sb2.

If any of this is unclear, please let me know, and I will try to explain
it better.

Thanks again,
Alan
