What's new

  • Maintenance release. No changes to how IDM Pro works.

Download

Download IDMPro-Store-Setup-1.0.3.exe. The store.yml and .blockmap files are used by the app's automatic updater; you do not need to download them.

If you already have IDM Pro 1.0.2, you do not need to download anything: IDM Pro offers this update by itself. You can also use Check for updates in Settings or the tray menu.

Installation

Run the installer. It upgrades an existing installation and keeps your downloads and settings.

Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher because the installer is not code-signed. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

What's new

  • Automatic updates - IDM Pro now checks for new versions by itself. When one is out, it asks first: Update downloads it in the background and installs it when you restart (or the next time IDM Pro closes); Later reminds you again in a few days. You can also use Check for updates in Settings or the tray menu.

Also included

  • Download videos from more sites - when a site is not supported by the built-in video extractor, IDM Pro picks up the stream the page's own player is playing, lists its qualities and saves it as an MP4. This works on sites such as ARY Plus.
  • Day theme - switch between day and night with the sun/moon button in the toolbar.
  • Download complete window - shows where a finished file was saved, with Open, Open with..., Open folder and Close.
  • Settings has a gear icon, and the progress window has restyled buttons and can be moved by its title bar.
  • Fixed a crash that could happen when pausing a download.
