Alarm skill #75
Comments
Hey Jerry, thanks for reporting this and helping us improve Mycroft. I've been trying to replicate it but couldn't get the same behaviour. It was correctly setting the alarm in 61 minutes time. Can you check if your running the latest version of the Skill? It should update automatically, unless it believes you are editing the Skill. The easiest way might be to uninstall and reinstall the Skill. You can do this by saying: |
Thanks for the follow up Kris. I un-installed and re-installed the alarm on your suggestion.
At about 11:35 AM today I requested Mycroft to “Set alarm for one PM”. The reply was “I have set alarm for 9 AM tomorrow 22 hours from now”. Does that make any sense to you? I confirmed that Mycroft recognizes my location at Fredericton NB in Canada, which should account for the time zone I hope.
I have tried several more times annunciating carefully but am getting the same results every time.
Then I tried typing the request in terminal mode and got the same response (snip attached)

You can do this by saying:
"Hey Mycroft, uninstall alarm"
Confirm and allow it to uninstall, then:
"Hey Mycroft, install alarm"
Confirm and all it to install.

When attempting to set an alarm today, using Picroft, for 1:00 PM today (while the current time was 11:59 AM local), Mycroft set the alarm for tomorrow at that time.
When asking Mycroft to cancel the alarm, the response was that the request was not understood.
When asking Mycroft "Are any alarms set?" the response was that the request was not understood.
