Update tag status for all dead fall trees

Tag status for all dead fallen trees should be Inactive in Field. Some are currently showing up as active tags (aka status=Tree), creating some confusion in the field.

Some counts from the current database for Tree Status = 'Dead Fallen':

• 650 trees w/ any Tag Status
• 140 trees w/ Tag Status = 'Tree'
• 2 trees w/ Tag Status = 'Sapling'
• 508 trees w/ Tag Status = 'Inactive (In Field)'

Should the 2 trees w/ Tag Status = 'Sapling' also be changed to 'Inactive (In FIeld)'?

These are tags 3250 (Tree notes include "only burned stump remains") and 3962. Both have tree data updated dates in 2014.

I am not sure how 3250 has a status of "sapling". In 2006, it was a 11.4 cm diameter tree. In 2010 it was "Dead" (we didn't have more specific dead categories then), In 2014 it was dead fallen and in 2018 it was not sampled. It should have never had "sapling" but Inactive (In Field) is the correct status now.

A similar story for 3962. In 2006 it was an alive standing 25.1 cm tree, in 2010 it was "Dead", in 2014 "Dead Fallen" and un-sampled in 2018. Again, it should be "Inactive (In Field)"

I am assuming for both of these that the tag is not in the office. My guess is that at some point the tag was accidentally clicked on from the saplings tab and the status got changed, but that is just a guess.

I agree with JPs summary. They should both be Inactive (In Field). I checked, and neither tag is here in the office. ~Liz
