Acionamento six-step block

Description

Implements the algorithm for six-step commutation (also knows as block-commutation) of the BLDC.

Parameters and ports

Parameters

  • Número de pólos do motor: Number of poles of the motor.

Inputs

  • V: Voltage to be applied at each phase when it is commutated, e.g. for a 12V motor, this should be 12,0 for full-speed rotation.
  • theta_m: Angular position of the rotor. [radians]

Outputs

  • Va: Voltage to be applied to the motor's phase 'a'. [V]
  • Vb: Voltage to be applied to the motor's phase 'b'. [V]
  • Vc: Voltage to be applied to the motor's phase 'c'. [V]
  • Halls: 3x1 vector with the logical values of each hall sensor.
    • hall1: active between 300 and 120 degrees
    • hall2: active between 60 and 240 degrees
    • hall3: active between 180 and 360 degrees

Examples

This example demonstrates how to correctly commutate a BLDC using this block and display all the internal variables.
