What about pulling data from libreview? With the libre3 getting FDA approval in the states, it seems like that would be a really great way to get the libre3 data into xdrip, but just calling the libreview api and getting the data? I've seen there was a project a few years ago that tried to get the csv export from libreview, but there seems to be very little movement on it. |

As there have been angry e-mails about a similiar function in other apps, this one needs to be carefully implemented and can't differ from what the original app would send. |

I don't think we should be trying to upload to services like this. We should instead focus efforts on users having free access to their own data via services which support and promote open access. |

Continueing the Idea from Navid200#96
The Freestyle Libre2 App uses an account at Abbott to upload measurements and provide data for Libreview (doctors) and LibreLink for friends and family members to get access to alarms and measurements too.
Instead of using a patched app it would be nice if we could teach xdrip+ the necessary methods to do the upload directly.
There is also roches MySugr App that offers a personal diary with carbs, activities and insulin dosage across multiple devices
It would make also sense to use these services as an additional data source and pull data like the libre link app does in the freestyle universe.
Research on Libre was done with an implementation by
https://github.com/timoschlueter/nightscout-librelink-up
Which this could be based on for the Libre Part.
