With EDMC's update to v4.0 it required the plugin to be updated from Python 2.7 to Python 3. No functional changes were made to the plugin at this time.

It seems that some missions weren't being properly tracked. I believe this has now been fixed, unless Frontier have updated the way log entries are added.

The way that entries are written to EDMC's log file have been updated and will now preface all entries with [EvacCalc] to help identify the entries written by this plugin.

I think we're now at a stage where we're ready for this release to be considered v1.0

This is only a slight change from the previous version in that it now resets counts on the start of a new elite session, if this has been configured on the settings pane.

v0.5 has now been tested and is ready for release.

Enjoy it and feel free to raise issues with any discovered issues.

I clearly made a bit of a boo boo in the previous test release, here's a slightly updated version.

Pre-release

This release will, hopefully, track missions from mission boards on rescue ships.

It hasn't been tested, but due to these missions only being offered whilst the invasion is ongoing only 1-2 days per week, testing is somewhat difficult. Once these missions have been tested I'll flag this as an actual release.

If you find that a mission isn't being tracked correctly, can you please go to the Issues Tab, create an issue and attach the journal file for the session of the game that you are currently running. Feel free to strip out everything you'd like. What I'm really looking for are lines like the following:
{ "timestamp":"2019-06-07T21:16:18Z", "event":"MissionAccepted", "Faction":"Obassi Osaw Gold Bridge Int", "Name":"Mission_DS_Collect", "LocalisedName":"Salvage 4 Units of Occupied Escape Pod from Teller Horizons", "Commodity":"$OccupiedCryoPod_Name;", "Commodity_Localised":"Occupied Escape Pod", "Count":4, "DestinationSystem":"Obassi Osaw", "DestinationStation":"Teller Horizons", "Expiry":"2019-06-09T15:32:12Z", "Wing":false, "Influence":"++", "Reputation":"++", "Reward":356765, "MissionID":488072839 }

The settings panel now respects your changes.

The event handling messy if statement has been tidied up a little and should no longer throw errors every time an event is passed to it.

Next step will be to make it track missions from rescue ship mission board as I have discovered that they are a thing.

With update v0.3 you can now track the other Search and Rescue commodities which are now tracked on the plugin.

The settings screen doesn't seem to be controlling what is and is not visible, but this will hopefully be resolved in v0.3.1.

Point to beware of: Due to reworking the way these numbers are stored in the plugin the old totals have been reset I'm afraid. They might be recoverable and if so, I'll try to include that in an update soon. I'd advice that if you want to track these numbers carefully you will want to take note of current numbers before you update.

We're now able to track escape pods that are handed in to Search and Rescue contacts.

Get those limpet controllers fitted and active commanders! Let's save more people in need!
