where are the python manpages? #68
Comments
man page for python 2.7.3 is named python2.7.1 ?! |
This is useful for those of us who want to install more than one version of Python simultaneously. What do you suggest we do instead? |
The confusing part is 2.7.1 instead of 2.7.3. At least the version should be correct. Further python2.7 should be enough, that's also how the executable is called. And two python within one profile collide already because of bin/python. I think there should also be a manpage called just python and priorities are the way to handle collisions. |
hehe - the filename is python2.7.1.gz, but the 1 says man category 1, not python version 2.7.1 |
