When a chat is open on mobile, clicking internal links ajaxifies to the new page, but because the chat takes up the whole screen, the end user does not know this has happened.

One can argue that clicking on a link in a mobile chat would mean the user wants to go there, so the chat should be minimized (with a toaster alert thrown to notify).
