What's New
- As the first step of the construction work under the axis of historical concepts we introduced a set of new OMOP Extension domain-agnostic concepts. They include: (i) all-in-one bucket History of event concept that implies the semantics of a historical event, context, qualifier, or value; (ii) a hierarchy of enhanced historical concepts that bring additional time context (History of event within... and History of event longer than...). Old domain-specific OMOP Extension historical concepts (e.g. Past history of procedure within 1 month) are deStandardized, invalidated as Upgraded ones and mapped over to the respective new concepts. On the next SNOMED refresh, the same steps will be taken on the respective historical concepts.
- We added a brand new set of the Cancer Modifier Staging/Grading concepts designed to capture major Staging and Grading cancer parameters and response assessment terms. The terms are aligned within the hierarchy to ease the querying and phenotyping. Previously Standard Staging/Grading concepts (Cancer Modifier, NCIt) were deStandardized, invalidated as Upgraded ones and mapped over to the respective new concepts.
- LOINC vocabulary has been updated with its 2.72 Feb 2022 version. COVID-2019-related lab tests were rolled up to the respective parent concept of the "Measurement of Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)" hierarchy, while non-specific SARS-related tests - to the respective Measurement of Coronavirus (Coronavirinae subfamily species) hierarchy. Deprecated concepts (not replaced by the source with a new concept) are mapped over to the respective Standard concepts in SNOMED and other vocabularies. Clinical summary-related concepts changed their domains from Measurement to Observation.
- We introduced another set of UCUM units in order to support mappings from SNOMED unit concepts that will be released on the next SNOMED refresh.
- MedDRA vocabulary has been updated with its 25.0 (March 2022) version. We continue to add new "Maps to/Maps to value" relationships from MedDRA LLT/PT Classification concepts to Standard OMOP concepts with the focus on COVID-19 and considering the representation in RWD. The set of “aggravating/progressive” MedDRA conditions were mapped to the newly designed OMOP extension concepts. Among them we introduced the hierarchies of "Exacerbation of disease or clinical sign or symptom" and "Progression of disease or clinical sign or symptom". In total, there are 14,257 relationships introduced to the MedDRA vocabulary.
- NDC/SPL regular weekly update.
- OMOP Extension: in addition to the above-mentioned hierarchies we added some more "EuroQol five dimension three level scale" concepts, specific Recurrent miscarriage descendant concepts, SARS-related and some other Meas values (Variant of concern, Variant of interest, Gene truncation).

What's New
This release focused mainly of an update of the RxNorm vocabulary (March 2022 release). Alongside with this, the regular NDC/SPL refresh was done.
We also released the "Personal and Family Health History" module in the PPI vocabulary for the AllofUs research program. This module notably is composed in the old model, as it was largely aligned with earlier versions of history modules.
Some UCUM units were processed as part of a unit harmonization step that will be continued over the next couple of releases.

What's new
- MedDRA vocabulary has been updated with its 24.1 (1 Nov 2021) version. The first time we introduced "Maps to" / "Maps to value" relationships from MedDRA Classification concepts to Standard OMOP vocabulary concepts. In total, we added 13,672 relationships came from the SNOMED-MedDRA collaboration project and OHDSI collaborators. For concepts that obtained the new "Maps to" links, the old "SNOMED - MedDRA eq" relationships are deprecated.
- PPI: Winter Minute Survey on COVID-19 Vaccines was added.
- Oncotree was updated to 2020-10-01 version. Note, it was a quick update, so new OncoTree concepts weren't mapped.

What's new
- LOINC vocabulary has been updated with its 2.71 Aug 2021 version (main source) as well as the prelease special use terms up to Dec 02 2021. LOINC radiology concepts changed their domains from Measurement to Procedure. Clinical note-related concepts changed their domains from Measurement to Observation. Some LOINC concepts discouraged by the source (do not confuse with deprecated concepts) became Standard. COVID-2019-related lab tests were rolled up to the respective parent concept of the "Measurement of Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)" hierarchy. Deprecated concepts (not replaced by the source with a new concept) are mapped over to the respective Standard concepts in SNOMED and other vocabularies.
- ICD10CM vocabulary has been updated with its FY2022 version. New content mapping as well as some fixes have been introduced.
- Metastasis concept class of the Cancer Modifier vocabulary has been updated. Ambiguous, erroneous and unnecessary concepts were upgraded and/or mapped over to the correct ones. Internal hierarchy has been introduced.
- NDC/SPL regular weekly update.
- Added back the VA Class to VANDF hierarchical relationships (subsumes).

What's new
This release provides
- an update to CPT4, including some dearly needed codes for identifying particular CoViD19 vaccinations. Not all of the new CPT4 codes are mapped by now but we selectively targeted currently requested ones. With a future release remaining meaningful (i.e. not reserved) CPT4 concepts will be mapped as well.
- an update to AMT based on the June 2021 version with mappings to standard concepts, with one exception (sadly): newly added vaccine concepts remain unmapped in this version due to issues with processing the current data and target structure.
- a major overhaul of the VA Products vocabulary that has also been renamed to VANDF.
- the addition of 20 vaccination concepts to the CVX vocabulary
- an update to the Belgium GGR vocabulary
- a regular update of NDC
- a small number of OMOP extension entries (such as eye fundus examination results)
