A button to open a page to select and copy a job template to the current directory in the files interface, along with #1183 would provide some of the capability of the Job Composer to the Files app itself. The benefit of the Files app is the user has control over where templates get created. The same Job Composer job templates could be used (those deployed to /etc/ood/config/apps/myjobs/templates).

The job composer choose template page would need to be replicated here.

Need to be reworded as maybe create project template from a file or directory, but yea I could see it.

I'm going to close this as won't do. There are a few things that are concerning here. One is that now project templates somehow bleed into the files app. That seems like it should remain separate. Besides that - I'm not entirely sure we should expect folks to navigate to /etc/ood/config/apps/myjobs/templates or similar. I just feel like that's a bit of an odd flow.
