OVIRON, the platform for the indie Digital & VR content creation community

OVIRON is the open-source community-driven platform that fosters independace, ownership, creativity, and collaboration between indie Digital & VR content creators and enthusiasts.

The Goal

OVIRON is a community-driven project that aims to be an affordable and open solution for all users of different backgrounds while delivering as different from other entities a high level of transparency that meets the mission and vision of the project.

The Mission

The mission is solely to empower digital & VR indie content creators to increase awareness and ownership of their content on the web, while also fostering privacy, creativity and collaboration to support indie groups on sustaining their projects.

Furthermore, to encourage digital & VR content enthusiasts to pursue the indie path, as well as boost an inclusive mindset between communities of different niches who share a common interest in digital & VR content and related technologies to be united as a single large community.

The Vision

We vision a growth of unity and collaboration between indie creators and enthusiasts all around the globe, providing them the resources to sustain and boost their independent paths for their growth and success.

In addition, we envision the born of the open virtual space, to lessen the distance gap, boost creativity, and see the birth of new digital & VR content creators.

Prerequisites

In order to setup the project in your local environment make sure you have:

  • OS: MacOS or Linux
  • node version 16 or above

Installing

Install the required dependencies running

yarn install

Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

yarn start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.

yarn test

Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode. Unit tests are created with Testing library and Jest

yarn build

Builds the app for production to the build folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.

This command shouldn't be executed in local environment. It is used by AWS after deploying modification in the main branch.
